Hello...

I joined Sterling in August 1989, as Technical Director. The changes and developments within our industry over this period of time have been phenomenal, but with training and support from Ricoh UK, our ability to support our customer base in a highly professional manner has been sustainable. In terms of new products, I always look forward to ‘what is round the corner’.

Experience

After serving a Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship from leaving school, I entered the Technical Service industry repairing various items of office equipment. My transition really came in January 1980 when I first became involved with the early models of photocopiers. I have been involved with this equipment since that time, with the vast majority the on Ricoh products with Sterling.

Why Sterling?

When I was invited to Sterling, I was happy to join the company as I could see that they that had a philosophy of building caring business relationships with their customers, to a very personal level. I feel that this philosophy has helped Sterling maintain and grow its’ customer base over the years, retaining many customers for a great length of time.

Personally

I am married and enjoy home life, listening to music, and the company of friends. I also do a lot of walking in the countryside and coast. My main social activities involve sport, watching or taking part, particularly Football and Golf.
